ALpha nu invites you
to our Centennial Celebration Weekend
April 22-24, 2022
The weekend of April 22-24, 2022, we will celebrate Alpha Chi Omega’s establishment at the University of Missouri 100 years ago. All alumnae and their guests are welcome to be part of the festivities. For the women who formed lifetime friendships at Alpha Nu, the weekend will provide opportunities to add to their stories. For those who have lost their connection with the chapter, our centennial weekend represents an opportunity to re-engage.
The gala will be held on Saturday, April 23, at the Hampton Inn & Suites Columbia at the University of Missouri. The event will begin with a 6 p.m. social hour followed by a formal dinner and program. Tickets are $50 per person. After making your reservation, you can pay via personal check or PayPal. To pay via PayPal, search firstname.lastname@example.org in the "send" search bar.
Reserve your room at the Hampton Inn & Suites Columbia using our group rate by clicking here.
Activities for Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning are still in the planning stages. Proposed activities include:
House and campus tours
Opportunity to donate supplies to True North, the local domestic violence shelter supported by the chapter
Ample time for gathering by decade, new member class, graduation year and other smaller groups
Alpha Chi and Alpha Nu centennial merchandise available for online purchase
New member classes from 1992 to 2002 are eligible to receive their 25-year pins, and new member classes 1967 to 1977 are eligible to receive their 50-year pins during the centennial celebration weekend. A brunch with Alpha Chi Omega National President Lynne Herndon is scheduled on Sunday, April 24, to honor the members who have achieved these milestones. The cost to attend the brunch is $15, and anyone interested in attending can register here. Alumnae can purchase their commemorative pin here.
To continue our chapter’s legacy at the University of Missouri, the Centennial Committee has established an annual scholarship for Alpha Nu seniors through the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation. Today, collegians say the number one reason they resign their membership is due to financial obstacles, especially among seniors, and hopefully, this will help relieve the financial burden. Our goal is to endow at least one scholarship by raising $25,000. Hopefully, we will raise more. All donations to the scholarship fund are tax-deductible. Early donations will allow us to gauge the level of support by our alumnae for the scholarships.

Donations to the Alpha Nu Centennial Scholarship Fund can be paid out annually for up to five years through the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation. Alumnae interested in a payment plan should contact Melissa Ramirez at email@example.com to arrange.
Email Pat Rickard Rohan '64 photos and videos of your time at Alpha Nu. Please include the names of those in the photo or video, the name of the event, the event date or as much information as you remember.
